FROM THE PRESIDENT

Hello and Welcome to the North Canterbury Dog Training Club (NCDTC) website.

My name is Janice Kirk and I am very pleased to have been elected as President of NCDTC at our recent AGM.

With many years’ experience in dog training, I have a long history of involvement in the running of several clubs within the Canterbury area over the past 40 years, including being on the steering committee to start the NCDTC in 2014 and subsequently a member of  the first committee.

My plan for the Club over the coming year is to see it grow in strength while remaining a  friendly, family Club. The newly elected Committee are resolute to ensure this comes about. We are also very fortunate to have a dedicated bunch of instructors who are experienced handlers and give their time to teach and encourage others to get the best from themselves and their dogs.

Not only do we have classes for domestic training, but also very successful competitive Obedience and Rally-O teams. NCDTC is for everyone!!
